Pauline Goh, MA, RCC, CCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Canadian Certified Counsellor

Pauline received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Integral Counseling Psychology, from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. She pursued her undergraduate education in University of Hawaii in Manoa where she attained a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Most recently, she provided clinical counselling and psychotherapy in English and Cantonese as Behavioral Health Counselor at PAES Counseling & Pre-Vocational Services (PCS), part of the reputable Richmond Area Multi-Services (RAMS) community mental health network in San Francisco. Here, she served a culturally diverse clientele of adults in a welfare-to-work program, challenged by substance abuse and addiction, trauma, financial struggles, and life transition. She also helped to facilitate group work, including a Creative Arts group and Grief and Loss group which utilized expressive arts including art, music and poetry to support the healing process.

Prior to PCS, Pauline provided psychotherapy to individuals and couples at Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center, a transpersonal counseling provider in San Francisco. She also has prior experience working with African refugees in Hong Kong who were dealing with discrimination, isolation, homelessness, and a background of abuse and trauma.

Although Pauline first moved to BC as a teenager, she spent many years gaining life and work experience all over the world. She lived in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Honolulu, and has sixteen years of business work experience including managing teams and coordinating work activities in the Asia-Pacific region, Middle East, North America and Europe. As such, Pauline’s way of working is informed by a local and global perspective as well as insight into diverse cultures and races. She brings a unique understanding of immigration challenges, life transition, cross-cultural and race-related issues.

Since pursuing her second career in counselling psychology and investing in her own psycho-spiritual healing work, Pauline has experienced many positive life changes, as well as profound fulfillment and transformation. Because of this, she is dedicated towards servicing others through clinical counseling and psychotherapy.

Pauline is registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, and the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. She is also an associate member of the Employee Assistance Program Association.
