Kevin received his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. His undergraduate degree is in Broadcast Television Production with a minor in Film Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, School of Journalism.

Currently, Kevin also serves as facilitator and mentor at "Dads Make a Difference" groups in Nanaimo and Duncan. Previously, he provided psychotherapy to adults and couples at the Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center in San Francisco, California, where he had an exposure to a diverse and eclectic range of clients.

He also brings with him social work experience working with seniors at the Sebastopol Senior Center in Sebastopol, California, where he developed activities and art projects aimed at keeping seniors active and engaged. He was a regular entertainer at the center, playing guitar and singing.

He taught video production for Community Television of Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California, and worked with the Grass Valley Graphics Collective, teaching art and drumming to children at the Nevada City Library in Nevada City, California.

Prior to attending graduate school, Kevin worked in the catering and fine dining profession with various organizations, including the prestigious Faculty Club at Stanford University where he was catering manager. His interest in the culinary arts took him around the world, working as a charter boat chef in the Virgin islands and running a crepe shop in Queenstown , New Zealand. He has traveled extensively in India, Thailand, Central America, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.

Kevin is registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, and the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association.
